The GMC General is a heavy-duty semi-tractor truck manufactured and sold by GMC from 1976 to 1987. A variety of engines were available, the cab was made of aluminum, and in addition to the usual day cab type, there is also a lineup of large sleeper cabs. It was highly popular among American truckers.
AMT's kit reproduces a double-rear-axle sleeper cab version of the 1976 model of this truck, with a hood that can be opened and closed after completion, with a detailed engine and chassis. Plated parts are available for the bumpers, exhaust pipes, rearview mirrors and wheels, and the interior of the cab is also highly detailed.
