PAYMENT, SHIPPING & RETURNS POLICY
PAYMENT & TAXES
Hobbywürks accepts major credit cards as forms of payment on orders shipping from our website. When using your credit card, please provide your credit card billing address if different from the shipping address and daytime phone number. If the billing address or security code does not match that which is on file at your financial institution or if authorization is not approved for any reason, Hobbywürks reserves the right to cancel the order without notification. Issues with payment authorization must be resolved by the customer, and the goods reordered.
Products sold by Hobbywürks are subject to tax in accordance with the laws of the shipping destination.
Payment options, taxes, and shipping costs associated with an order will be shown at checkout.
SHIPPING POLICY
Currently Hobbywürks does not offer International Shipping.
Hobbywürks partners with carriers USPS and UPS to provide economical and reliable shipping options to fulfill your order. Tracking numbers are provided once your order has been shipped with the carrier.
If you choose to refuse your package upon delivery, we will refund your order minus the original shipping charge and the return shipping charge associated with your package once we receive the package back to our store.
SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS
Lithium Batteries or Devices with Lithium Batteries
Both UPS and the US Postal Service are available shipping carriers to transport most lithium batteries and electronic devices containing lithium batteries. The US Postal Service has a limit of three batteries per shipment; refer to the Domestic Mail Manual for more information. Ground transport only.
Nitro Fuel
We do not offer shipping on Nitro fuels
Ground-Only Items
Some of the products that Hobbywürks carries must be transported under ORM-D (Other Regulated Materials for Domestic transport). Shipping under ORM-D will subject the product to ship by UPS Ground.
Products included:

- Non-Water Based Paints and Paint Thinner
- Aerosol Type Products
- Traction Compounds
- Glue / Adhesive / Accelerators / De-bonder / Putty
- Tire and Body Cleaners
The US Postal Service does not transport ORM-D items, and will not show up as a delivery option during checkout.
Rocket Motors and Rocket Igniters
Rocket Motors and Rocket Igniters are classified as a “Toy Propellant Device” and can only be transported through US Postal Service’s Ground Parcel Post.
UPS will not show up as a delivery option for Rocket Motors and Rocket Igniters during checkout.
LOST, MISSING, OR DAMAGED SHIPMENTS
If you have not received your order, and feel your package may be lost, please contact us. All packages shipped by Hobbywürks are insured for 100% of the package's value. If your package is in fact lost, we will either replace the package, or offer you a refund for the full amount of the order.
If your order arrives damaged, you must contact Hobbywürks within 48 hours of receipt of your package to put in a claim. If the shipping carton is damaged, do not throw away any part of the order, including the shipping carton. Hobbywürks require photos of the carton and any damaged merchandise along with a picture of the shipping label. We will contact the shipping company with the claim information, and typically within two to six business days the issue gets resolved.
If you are missing an item from your order, please contact us within 48 hours after delivery. We will ensure that you receive your complete order.
All manufacturer warranty is to be handled by following the manufacturer's warranty policy which can be found in the documentation that came with your product. If you receive an item that is missing parts or has defective parts, please contact us immediately and we will put you in contact with the manufacturer to get replacement parts. Many manufacturers refuse to work directly with retailers in situations like this, and only work with consumers. If the manufacturer does not handle your claim to your satisfaction, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you.
Do not return defective items to hobbywürks unless specifically requested to do so. We reserve the right to refuse such returns at your own expense.
Warranty service or replacement decisions are at the sole discretion of Hobbywürks.
RETURN POLICY
We will accept New and Unused product for Refund or Store Credit within 30 days from purchase. For train sets, games, plastic models, and other items sold with shrink wrap, the shrink-wrapping must be intact and the box unopened.
You must contact us to receive a Return Authorization Number (RAN) prior to shipping returns to us. Please write the RNA number on the carton or on a paper inside the carton.
Upon receiving the returned item(s) Hobbywürks will determine if the product is new and in saleable condition, and if so, we will process your refund of the originally paid price of the returned item(s), less original shipping charges.
We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee on returned merchandise that is not considered new and in saleable condition.
Return items should be packed to assure no damage is incurred during shipping. Hobbywürks is not responsible for damage incurred during the shipping process, nor for packages lost in transit. Please insure packages and avoid shipping methods of carriers that do not provide tracking.
